Corporate Profit Tax Act to Undergo Constitutional Assessment
Ljubljana, 17 April - Lesnina, a wholesaler of wood and building materials, has launched a procedure for the constitutional assessment of amendments to the corporate profit tax act, which came into force at the beginning of the year. The amendments reduce tax breaks on investments into tangible assets, and introduce new tax breaks for investments, but only those within Slovenia. Lesnina believes that parts of articles 5 and 9 of the new act are unconstitutional.
