Slovenian Writer from Austria Receives Minority Literary Award
Trieste, 18 April - The Carinthian writer Joze Blajs is the winner of the 2002 Vstajenje (Resurrection) literary award for Slovenian authors living abroad. Blajs's "Na konici jezika" (On the Tip of the Tongue) has been chosen among 24 works by a jury of seven experts and authors, members of the Slovenian community in Italy. The award-winning ceremony, the 40th in a row, will take place on 5 May in the border city of Trieste.
