SNS Urges Parliament to Reject the Constitutional Court Ruling on "Erased" Citizens
Ljubljana, 18 April - The opposition National Party (SNS) disagrees with the recent Constitutional Court ruling that Slovenia's inhabitants coming from the republics of the former Yugoslavia who were erased from the population register in 1992 should be given permanent residence permits. The party on Friday called on the Parliament to reject the decision of the Court, which is possible under the Constitution, "if the decision is harmful to the citizens and the country," said SNS leader Zmago Jelincic.
