Review of the Slovenian Economy from 12 to 18 April
Ljubljana, 20 April - Taking into the account the downgraded economic growth forecasts by IMAD, set at 3.1 percent, the Finance Ministry drafted a document for the supplementary budget, which is to be compiled by 8 May. Meanwhile, the social partners finally initiated the 2003-2005 social agreement, contributing greatly to the stabilisation of the situation in Slovenia. The post-war reconstruction of Iraq seems a tempting deal for several Slovenian companies, however, the Chamber of Commerce warned that they could only expect subcontracts.
