Monument to WWII National Hero Unveiled in Ljubljana; NSi Protests

Ljubljana, 25 April - A monument to national hero Franc Rozman - Stane was unveiled in Ljubljana on Friday by Mayor Danica Simsic and commander of the first brigade of the Slovenian Armed Forces, Colonel Branimir Furlan. The monument, made by sculptor Janez Pirnat, was erected in the park of the barracks bearing the name of the hero. The move has already been criticised by the opposition New Slovenia (NSi), saying it was controversial.
