U.S. Unblocks former Yugoslav National Bank Funds; Slovenia Gets US$ 38m
Ljubljana, 29 April - The United States has lifted the freeze on funds held by the former National Bank of Yugoslavia in the country, worth a total of US$ 225m. Being one of successor states to the former Yugoslavia, Slovenia has received US$ 38m of these funds together with interest, Slovenian high representative for succession issues Rudolf Gabrovec has told STA.
