Gov't Gives Green Light to Foreigners in Gaming Industry
Ljubljana, 30 April - The government passed changes to the gaming act at Wednesday's regular session, fulfilling years-long obligation to the EU to allow the entry of foreign capital in the field of gaming. The changes, to be discussed in parliament in a fast-track procedure, specify that standard games in Slovenia could be held by two organisers, while the country could have a maximum of 15 casinos and a total of 45 game saloons.
