Ljubljana to Get Its First Art Film Centre

Ljubljana, 6 May - The cinema theatre "Ljubljanski dvor" opened on 15 October 1923 with the screening of "Young Medardus" (Der junge Medardus), Arthur Schnitzler's historical drama directed by legendary Michael Curtiz. Eighty years later, a modern cinema centre is about to open there. Run by the Slovenian Cinematheque, "Kinodvor" will cater to those who enjoy noncommercial art film.
