Initiative for Referendum on Prostitution in Parliament
Ljubljana, 3 June - A group of voters on Tuesday filed an initiative to parliament calling for a referendum on the recently passed changes decriminalising prostitution. As STA was told by the National Assembly, the parliament's legal service will be asked for an opinion on Wednesday. The opinion will then serve as a basis for the speaker to set the period in which the required 40,000 signatures would be collected in order for a referendum to be called.
