Madrid Meeting Smoothes over Gaps in NATO, Says Slovenian FM
Madrid, 3 June - "It seems that the hard feelings are forgotten, as the meeting looked forward to the future and new challenges awaiting the Alliance," FM Dimitrij Rupel told STA following a meeting of FMs of 19 NATO members and seven future members in Madrid. The meeting discussed further reorganisation of NATO and aimed at smoothing over the differences that had occured because of the war in Iraq.
