Fire Blight Disease Spreads Rapidly, Largest Orchard in Slovenia Affected
Škofja Loka, 5 June - The fire blight plant disease has spread to five more towns, some as far as 25 km away from the centre of the infection, Skofja Loka, some 30 km north-west of Ljubljana, said the Plant Protection and Seeds Administration on Thursday. Moreover, the inspectors and experts have examined the largest Slovenian orchard, Resje, where first signs of infection were noticed two days ago.
