Vecer on the Final Stages in the Convention on Future of Europe
Maribor, 6 June - Finding a suitable and acceptable constitutional formulation is supposedly taking too much energy from the members of the Convention on the future of Europe, though its president Valery Giscard d'Estaing has not yet given up. So the preamble to the constitution is likely to retain the vague reference to Europe's cultural, religious and humanistic heritage originating from the Ancient Greece and Rome, comments Friday's Vecer.
