Slovenian Minority Happy with Election Outcome in Italy's Friuli
Trieste, 9 June - Leading representatives of the Slovenian minority living in Italy have welcomed the results of Sunday's regional elections in the Friuli Venezi-Giulia region. Preliminary results indicate that the centre-left candidate Riccardo Illy has been elected new head of the regional government in this north-eastern region.
