Draft EU Constitutional Treaty Still Acceptable for Slovenia, FM Says
Ljubljana, 15 June - Slovenia expected more from the draft EU Constitutional Treaty, however, what it got met only the minimum of its demands, said Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel on Saturday for the public broadcaster Televizija Slovenija. Least acceptable for the accession country is the office of the permanent European Council president, as it had always been in favour of preserving the current half-yearly rotation system, Rupel stressed.
