Monument to James JOyce Erected in Ljubljana

Ljubljana, 16 June - A monument to the celebrated Irish writer James Joyce was inaugurated at the Ljubljana railway station Monday evening. The event was attended by Irish Ambassador Gary Ansbro, who read passages of the writer's works, and Culture Ministry State Secretary Vojko Stopar. The programme included a performance of the English chamber ensemble Trio con Brio, and some of the most renowned Slovenian writers.
