Upon EU Accession Slovenia Needs Flexible Fiscal Policy, Finance Minister Says
Kranjska Gora, 20 June - If Slovenia wants to join the EU and the European exchange rate mechanism with a level of economy able to take advantage of opportunities and avoid dangers, it must adopt measures for a more flexible fiscal policy and greater competitiveness, said on Friday Finance Minister Dusan Mramor at an international conference on institutions in transition, organised by the government Institute for Macroeconomic Analyses and Development (IMAD).
