Privatisation of Steelworks Lagging Behind Set Deadlines
Ljubljana, 22 June - The sale of companies making up the Slovenian Steelworks (SZ) is lagging behind the deadlines set in the privatisation programme passed by the government in September 2001. Explaining the reasons for that, CEO of the SZ Holding Tibor Simonka named past property issues, recession in Western Europe and lower interest, as well as somewhat stricter conditions for the sale.
