U.S. Official Praises Slovenia's Efforts for EU and NATO Future
Ljubljana, 23 June - President Janez Drnovsek on Monday received Elizabeth Jones, the U.S. assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs, who is paying a visit to Slovenia. According to the president's office, Jones praised Slovenia's efforts for a responsible common future of the EU and NATO, and called for strengthening of the trans-Atlantic co-operation. Jones also briefed Drnovsek on the U.S. stance regarding the International Criminal Court (ICC).
