No Antibiotics Will Be Used in Fight Against Fire Blight
Ljubljana, 24 June - The inter-ministerial commission for phyto-pharmaceutical substances has decided that no antibiotics will be used in the fight against the rapidly spreading fire blight plant disease, which has wreaked havoc across Slovenia since the end of May. The only substances that farmers will be allowed to use are a solution based on fosetyl-aluminum and two copper-based solutions.
