Members of the First Elected Gov't Meet in Kocevje
Kočevje, 27 June - The members of the first democratically elected Slovenian government gathered on Friday afternoon in the southeastern town of Kocevje, on the occasion of National Day on 25 June. The main goal of the meeting was not to "chat about what great times those were", as stressed by the then prime minister Alojz Peterle, but to highlight the important role of the area around Kocevje during the process of Slovenia's independence.
