Ljubljana, 29 June - An agreement on the EU's agricultural policy was reached by EU agriculture ministers early on Thursday morning. While Slovenian Agriculture Minister Franci But believes Slovenia will benefit from the reform in the long-run, Slovenian farmers are unhappy with it, maintaining there was no true will to carry out the key changes. After being approved EUR 10m of state aid by the government on Monday, the troubled clothes producer Mura was visited by PM Anton Rop on Thursday. An unusual incident took place at the AGM of the largest bank, NLB, as a Finance Ministry representative voted against a government proposal by mistake. As a result, the AGM voted for financial rewards for the supervisory board. An emergency AGM has already been called for 30 July to vote once agian on the same proposal.
