European Microbiologists Begin Their 1st Congress
Ljubljana, 29 June - As the first FEMS congress of European microbiologists began in Ljubljana on Sunday afternoon, President of Slovenia Janez Drnovsek stressed the important role of coordination enabling to efficiently deal with challenges of globalisation. Drnovsek, who hoped the congress would become a traditional gathering of European microbiologists, hailed a contribution of Slovenian experts to the rapid development of microbiology.
