Acquittal in the Depala Vas Case Echoes in the Press

Ljubljana/Maribor, 1 July - Two Slovenian dailies on Tuesday comment on Monday's ruling of the Ljubljana District Court, which acquitted four former employees of the special army brigade MORIS - Darko Njavro, Robert Suhadolnik, Simon Krejan and Andrej Podbregar - charged with "the brutal arrest" of Milan Smolnikar back in 1994. The court senate ruled that there was no evidence that Smolnikar was in fact victim of a brutal arrest.
