Cheaper Drugs List to Be Introduced Soon, Not without Concern
Ljubljana, 2 July - A system of replaceable prescription drugs is expected to take effect on 1 November, helping save the Slovenian Health Insurance Institute (ZZZS) up to SIT 1bn (EUR 4.27m) annually. To facilitate the move, the ZZZS adopted on Wednesday changes to the compulsory health insurance system and set the criteria for the classification of drugs on the market.
