Consumer's Protection Office Might Move from Economics to Health Ministry
Ljubljana, 2 July - The urge to restructure the Consumer's Protection Office became clear with last year's milk scandal and the banned antibiotic Chloramphenicol, which proved that the relevant ministries are not able to implement the policy of consumer's protection. While the future arrangement of this body is yet unclear, Wednesday's session of the government social security council stressed the importance of following EU policy.
