Slovenia to Play Leading Role within the EU, Says Lombardero

Ljubljana, 3 July - As an EU member, Slovenia will be playing a leading role; the Union does not depend on the number of inhabitants or votes of a country, but on its will and participation in shaping the future of the EU, said EU's chief negotiator with Slovenia Jaime Garcia Lombardero, chair of the annual session of the EU-Slovenia accession committee, which took place on Thursday in Ljubljana.
