Ljubljana, 5 July - As expected, the U.S. froze military aid to countries that had not signed non-extradition to ICC agreements with the U.S., including Slovenia. Slovenian FM Dimitrij Rupel, nevertheless, assured that the bilateral relations are good. As Italy assumed presidency over the EU, Ambassador to Slovenia Norberto Capello presented his country's agenda during the next six months. The coalition parties failed to agree on the changes to the voting system, but the government adopted an amendment bill anyway to be sent to parliament for debate.
