Emigrants Have Been Written Off by the State, Claims Slovenian Ex-Emigrant
Bled, 6 July - "It's a common belief that there are some half a million Slovenians living outside their homeland, which is a fifth of all Slovenians. However, it is my impression that the fifth has been written off or, to say the least, is treated step-motherly by state institutions and some citizens," a former expatriate said critically at a gathering of Slovenian emigrants.
