Changes in Economy and Pressures on Public Funds Expected to Mark Slovenia's EU Accession
Ljubljana, 7 July - With Slovenian accession to the EU coming up in mid-2004, some changes in the economic environment and important pressures on public funds will occur, Prime Minister Anton Rop said following Monday's meeting of the government's strategic council for the economy. At the meeting, councilors discussed the analysis of Slovenian economy's sensitiveness to changes, produced by a project group of the Ljubljana Economic Faculty led by Janez Prasnikar.
