Triglav National Park Joins UNESCO Biosphere Reserves Network
Paris, 10 July - Slovenia's Triglav National Park, spreading across the larger part of the Julian Alps in NW Slovenia, joined the UNESCO's World Network of Biosphere Reserves on Thursday. At the meeting of the Bureau of the International Co-ordinating Council of UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme 15 new sites in 10 countries have been added to the network.
