Rop: An Economic Agenda to Prepare Slovenia for EU Membership
Ljubljana, 11 July - Prime Minister Anton Rop presented the government's economic agenda for this and next year. The goal is to prepare the country for an efficient entry into the EU, he said. Government measures will cut inflation, interest rates and employment growth in the public sector, while the government also intends to alter the way of wage harmonisation in order to lower wages in the public sector.
