Ljubljana, 13 July - Slovenian Prime Minister Anton Rop on Friday presented a package of measures, foremost economic, that would shape Slovenia up for membership of the EU. Among the goals of the programme are a reduction in inflation, interest rates and employment growth in the public sector. In other news, the government this week adopted a bill designed to bail out Slovenian farmers hit by drought and other natural disasters.
