Ljubljana, 13 July - Schedule of events in the week from 14 to 20 July:

MONDAY, 14 July

SARAJEVO - Slovenian Minister of European Affairs Janez Potocnik is to begin a two-day visit to Bosnia-Herzegovina. Apart from meeting with top Bosnian officials, Potocnik is to address a seminar at which Slovenia's experiences with EU integration are to be presented.

MADRID - Slovenian Transport Minister Jakob Presecnik is to pay a two-day visit to Spain at the invitation of Spanish Development Minister Francisco Alvarez Cascosa Fernandez. Presecnik is to attend an infrastructure forum between the two countries.

LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Parliament is to continue its July session which is expected to last through Tuesday. Lawmakers are set to discuss proposed amendments to a programme of selling state property, as well as the Slovenian motorway company's operations programme for 2003.

LJUBLJANA - Slovenian parliamentary representatives in the Convention on the future of Europe - Alojz Peterle, Mihael Brejc, Jelko Kacin and Feri Horvat - are set to hold a press conference to present the results of the Convention.

LJUBLJANA - The Franc Rozman Stane barracks in Ljubljana are to host a farewell ceremony for the biggest Slovenian contingent to leave for the peace-keeping mission in Bosnia. A total of 73 members of the 10th motorised battalion are to head on this six-month mission.

TUESDAY, 15 July

LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Parliament is to conclude its regular monthly session and launch an extraordinary session to discuss the government umbrella bill on natural disasters relief, which is to bail out Slovenian farmers hit by drought and other natural disasters. Meanwhile, the parliamentary foreign affairs committee and European affairs commission are to get acquainted with the priorities of Italy's EU presidency.

BRUSSELS - Finance ministers of the EU are to gather for a two-day meeting which is also to be attended by ministers from the acceding countries, among them Slovenia's Dusan Mramor. Mramor is also expected to partake in the session of Ecofina and meet with European Commissioner for the Economic and Monetary Affairs Pedro Solbes.

LJUBLJANA - Maltese Justice and Interior Affairs Minister Tonia Borga is set to begin a two-day visit to Slovenia.


LJUBLJANA - Slovenia's economic and social council is to meet to discuss the common memorandum on social inclusion and health reform for 2003.

LJUBLJANA - President of the National Council Janez Susnik is to hold a press conference at which he is to present the nature of problems experienced by local communities and the current activities of Slovenia's upper house of parliament.


LJUBLJANA - Georgian Foreign Minister Irakli Menagarishvili is to visit Slovenia upon the invitation of Slovenian counterpart Dimitrij Rupel.

LJUBLJANA - The government is to hold its regular weekly government session.

LJUBLJANA - The parliament is to hold a press conference to present its activities during the summer holidays.
