Business Circles Respond to PM Rop's Economic Agenda

Ljubljana, 14 July - In its Monday's edition, the business daily Finance gathered responses to the government's economic programme presented by PM Anton Rop last week. While a unanimous support was given for the proposals encouraging employment by means of tax relief, the idea of meddling with managerial salaries was met with mixed responses. Unequivocal criticism, however, was directed against the planned conversion of companies' tax debts into ownership shares of the state.
