Shop Assistants are Modern Slaves, Trade Union Leader Says
Ljubljana, 14 July - The shop workers' trade union has never opposed working on Sunday, but only fought for a suitable pay of Sunday's work and for a right to have a week's day of rest, the union's head Franci Lavrac told Monday's edition of the weekly Mladina ahead of the upcoming referendum on the shops' closure on Sundays.
