Two Large-Scale Outbreaks of Salmonella Reported in Slovenia

Koper/Trbovlje, 14 July - Just over 50 people were reportedly infected with the salmonella bacteria after indulging on vanilla-filled doughnuts and croissants in Slovenia's coastal city of Koper on Friday. Meanwhile, tests proved that 120 workers of glass factory Steklarna Hrastnik, in eastern Slovenia, suffering from severe stomach troubles last Thursday were in fact also infected with salmonella.
