Amendment to Takeover Act to Give More Power to Securities Market Agency

Ljubljana, 15 July - The draft amendment to the takeover act, which is to be discussed at the government's session on Thursday, is to bring more power to the Securities Market Agency. Moreover, fines for law violations are to be raised to range from one to 30 million SIT (EUR 4,200 - EUR 128,100), according to State Secretary at the Economics Ministry Matjaz Logar.
