Office Says Lasko Can Take Over Union under Certain Conditions
Ljubljana, 15 July - The Competition Protection Office has ruled that the consolidation between Slovenia's leading brewer Lasko and the country's second brewer Pivovarna Union has not taken place, since Lasko holds less than a fifty-percent stake in Union. The planned merger between Lasko and Union is in line with anti-trust legislation if certain terms and commitments are met, the office revealed its ruling to the public on Tuesday.
