Slovenia Needs More Electricity, Gov't to Support Alternative Energy Sources
Divača, 15 July - Electricity consumption in Slovenia is growing and the country will have to continue importing electricity. "Our strategic goal is to produce at least 75 percent of the needed electricity," stressed Environment and Energy Minister Janez Kopac at Tuesday launch of construction of a new transformer at Divaca, southwestern Slovenia.
