European Commission Critical of Slovenia's Readiness for Drawing EU Funds
Brussels, 16 July - A report issued by the EU on Wednesday about the readiness of acceding countries in the field of regional development says that Slovenia is relatively poorly prepared for the drawing of funds from EU structural and cohesion funds. As European Commissioners for Regional Policy and Enlargement, Michel Barnier and Guenter Verheugen, warned, the accession countries have to put more efforts in preparing for drawing of the funds.
