Gov't Discusses Troubled Companies and Takeover Bill

Ljubljana, 17 July - The state is to provide financial aid for three more troubled companies, the government decided at its regular weekly session on Thursday. After textile giant Mura received state funds in June, the state is to help furniture maker Lipa and textile manufacturers Svila and TVI Majsperk as well. While the government was also to pass a bill on takeovers, it did not do so as additional harmonisation is needed.
