Gov't Approves Social Security System Analysis
Ljubljana, 17 July - If no social transfers and pensions existed in Slovenia, the level of poverty in the country would have reached 40.8 percent instead of the current 13.6 percent (1999 data), explained Labour Ministry State Secretary Lidija Apohal Vuckovic after Thursday's government session, at which an analysis of social security transfers reviewed.
