Slovenia Demands More Clarity about Schengen Fund Targets

Salzburg, 18 July - Part of the Schengen fund should be used for paying the employees of the future EU border, but generally speaking, it is yet to be cleared for which purposes the fund is specifically intended, Interior Minister Rado Bohinc noted in Friday's meeting with European Commissioner for Justice and Home Affairs Antonio Vitorino. Vitorino reassured him that a list of activities covered by the fund will be drafted by September.
