Pahor Believes Slovenians Can Assert Themselves in Enlarged EU
Preddvor, 20 July - Slovenians proved in the past we are capable of standing up for our identity and interests even in the face of the cruellest adversity, such as wars. Therefore, we have nothing to fear in the enlarged EU, where we will have to assert our interests not by force but by knowledge, said Speaker of the Parliament Borut Pahor at a commemoration in memory of WWII annihilation of a village of Kokra, 25 km north of Ljubljana.
