Jansa Asks 1994 Authorities to Clarify Beznik's Interview in Mladina

Ljubljana, 22 July - SDS leader Janez Jansa wrote a press release on Tuesday, commenting on Monday's interview in weekly Mladina with former head of special police unit Vinko Beznik. At the same time, Jansa asked the highest state officials in 1994 - former President Milan Kucan, former Parliament Speaker Herman Rigelnik, former Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek and former Interior Minister Ivo Bizjak - who of them ordered the Slovenian police to be in full combat alert at the time, as Beznik claimed.
