Fischler and But Sign Final SAPARD Agreement for Slovenia
Brussels, 22 July - Slovenia's Agriculture Minister Franci But and European Commissioner for Agriculture Franz Fischler on Tuesday signed an agreement on financing SAPARD, pre-accession agriculture aid, for 2003, based on which Slovenia is to receive EUR 6.7m for different measures of agriculture policy. "This is the last time that Slovenia signed such an agreement and all funds need to be used well," said Minister But after the signing.
