Irish PM to Visit Slovenia

Ljubljana, 23 July - Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern is to visit Slovenia on Thursday as part of Ireland's preparations for the EU presidency, due through the first half of 2004 - a period of key importance that will see ten new members join the Union, the adoption of the EU Constitutional Treaty, and the first elections to the European Parliament with the participation of future member states. The official is to hold meetings with PM Anton Rop and President Janez Drnovsek.
