Another Seventh Place for Slovenian Swimmers at World Championships

Barcelona, 23 July - At the world swimming championship in Barcelona, Slovenia's Emil Tahirovic came seventh in the 50m freestyle finals on Wednesday, after Peter Mankoc ended up seventh in 200m freestyle on Tuesday. Tahirovic thus registered the third record time of his career (28.17). Mankoc made it to the semifinals with 49.63 this morning, but ended only 15th in the afternoon with 49.88.
