Drnovsek Handed Credentials of New German Ambassador

Ljubljana, 24 July - Slovenian President Janez Drnovsek was handed the credentials of the new German Ambassador to the country Hans Jochen Peters on Thursday in Ljubljana. At the meeting, Peters expressed his delight that he would be serving his term at a time when Slovenia is to become a member of the European Union and NATO. Moreover, the new ambassador reiterated Germany's readiness to offer Slovenia support with projects that the country must carry out ahead of membership.
