Brdo pri Kranju, 24 July - Intensified debate and exchange of views on the implementation of the Lisbon strategy are important both for Ireland and Slovenia, agreed prime ministers Bertie Ahern and Anton Rop on Thursday. Meeting at Brdo pri Kranju, 20 km N of Ljubljana, the leaders touched upon Ireland's priorities upon taking over EU presidency next year and the October inter-governmental conference (IGC).
